BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man with a long track record of dealing drugs attempted to elude police, leading them on a high-speed chase through Bellingham Friday night.
Police Lieutenant Claudia Murphy reports officers tried to catch up with Vincent Partin when they saw him driving near Kellogg and Meridian Streets late Friday night because he had a felony warrant for his arrest.
He pulled a U-turn in a parking lot and drove through a roundabout to get away, then took off at a high speed and ultimately evaded police.
Officers contacted him the following day in the 3700 block of Meridian Street and found methamphetamine and drug selling paraphernalia on him.
Court documents show Partin has a history of drug-related offenses spanning several years.
