BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Western Washington University is asking for vigilance as a surge in COVID-19 cases among students continues.
There are now 67 confirmed cases among students living both on and off campus.
The university says the surge is partly related to a number of parties and smaller social gatherings that occurred in March.
The student health center is offering testing and guidance.
All students, faculty, staff and visitors are urged to limit the size of gatherings, practice social distancing, wear masks and wash hands frequently.
