MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — As the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival kicks into gear, the cool spring is keeping color in check for now.
The RoozenGaarde bloom map has been showing good daffodil blooms at this time, but no fields with tulip blooms on yet.
The site says to expect some full rows of tulip blooms by late this week.
Advance online tickets are required to visit this year.
The site reminds guests that no drones are allowed over the fields.
