BLAKELY ISLAND, Wash. — Sunday afternoon a small plane crashed into the water off the Shores of Blakely Island
The San Juan County Sheriff’s office received a 911 transfer Sunday afternoon reporting a plane in the water at the south end of Blakely Island.
The Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Coast Guard and other local agencies responded to the area where the crash was reported.
Both occupants were able to safely reach Blakely Island, although officials have not confirmed the cause of the plane crash.
