OLYMPIA, Wash. — Many of the state’s farms and ranches offer agritourism experiences to visitors as part of their business and have been deeply impacted by the pandemic.
In response, the state’s Department of Agriculture is providing support grants to small agritourism farms.
The Relief and Recovery grant bolsters viability of the state’s agricultural and tourism industries, helping prevent business closures.
Eligible businesses link agricultural production or processing with tourism and can include farm tours, u-pick farms, corn mazes, pumpkin patches and agriculturally-related recreation such as hayrides.
Applications for the $15,000 grant is open through April 26th.
Further information about the grant and a link to the application can be found on the WSDA’s Relief and Recovery Grant web page.
