ALGER, Wash. — Fans are invited back to the Skagit Speedway this year.

The Skagit Valley Herald reports the speedway will begin its 2021 season Saturday under state COVID-19 safety guidelines that will allow for about 2,500 people in the stands.

Fans will be expected to follow guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19, like distancing and wearing masks unless eating or drinking.

The speedway will also continue to broadcast races on pay-per-view for fans who can’t make it in person.
