LYNDEN, Wash. — A Lynden man faces child rape and other charges after an investigation found he’s been living with and having a sexual relationship with an underage girl for more than a year.
The girl told investigators that she and Feliciano Ramirez Najera began an intimate relationship in March, 2020 when she was 15 and he was 24.
Ramirez Najera was arrested for domestic violence assault involving the girl last May and she moved in with relatives in Mount Vernon.
Court documents say prosecutors requested a follow-up investigation of the assault and found the intimate relationship had continued.
Ramirez Najera also faces a charge for violating a no-contact order involving the girl.
