MAPLE FALLS, Wash. — A man wanted for possession of a stolen vehicle got violent with officers as they tried to arrest him Tuesday.
Court documents says a sheriff’s deputy spotted 27-year-old Zachariah A. MaGee driving in Maple Falls and stopped him because he was being sought on the charge.
The deputy says MaGee resisted arrest and tried to get away before kicking the officer between the legs.
He spat on the deputy while being placed in the back seat of the patrol vehicle, then kicked out the divider between the driver and back seat,.
He was eventually transported to jail in an ambulance, and tried to assault other deputies while they restrained him.
