OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — A new mandate signed by Governor Inslee allows increased attendance at indoor and outdoor events with the provision of designated sections for vaccinated individuals.

The mandate affects sporting events, graduations, and other events for counties in the second and third phases of Washington’s economic reopening plan.

Proof of vaccination will be required for access to these sections.

Children aged 2-15 will be allowed with a negative COVID test within 72 hours, and children under age 2 will be allowed with a vaccinated adult.

The new rules take effect immediately.
