The City of Bellingham is accepting artist proposals for a new public works building on Nevada St.
The artwork will span the entirety of a 38-foot wall in an otherwise primarily industrial area.
The project is funded through the City of Bellingham’s “One Percent for the Arts” program, in which one-percent of large capital budget projects is dedicated to the integration of artwork. $50,000 has been budgeted for this project.
Interested artists or teams must respond with proposals no later than noon on July 16th to be considered for the project.
