BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The passenger of a suspected DUI driver was injured in a Whatcom County rollover crash Tuesday night.
The Washington State Patrol says 29- year old Toby W. Solomon of Bellingham was driving too fast heading westbound on Ferndale Road just after 7pm at Marine Drive in Ferndale.
He tried to make an illegal pass, lost control, and rolled his Honda Accord into the ditch.
Solomon’s passenger, 35 year old Nicholas T. Jefferson, also of Bellingham, was taken to St. Joseph’s for his injuries.
Solomon was uninjured and the crash remains under investigation.
