MAPLE FALLS, Wash. — A Maple Falls man is under arrest for allegedly raping an underage girl.
Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies responded Saturday evening to a home on Lilac Lane in Maple Falls.
The juvenile and her family told them that 41-year-old Patrick Watts had been allowed to stay at their home Friday night.
The girl awoke early Saturday to find Watts in her bed assaulting her.
He faces charges of 2nd Degree Rape and Communicating with a Minor for Immoral Purposes.
