OLYMPIA, Wash. — No counties are going backward but none are going forward in the state’s economic reopening plan.
Governor Jay Inslee announced Tuesday a two week pause in the Roadmap to Recovery.
Inslee said after the two weeks, they will evaluate the number of cases per 100,000 and hospitalizations.
Several counties were expected to roll back to Phase 2 of the plan, but Inslee says a fourth wave of cases has started to ease, noting that the most recent data shows a potential plateau in COVID-19 activity.
He announced at a news conference that 54% of eligible residents have received a first vaccine dose and 38% are fully vaccinated.
