SEATTLE, Wash. — An E. coli outbreak first seen in seven King County children is now spreading north.
Snohomish County health workers Tuesday reported two more cases involving a woman in her 20s and a child under 10 from separate households.
Food safety attorney Bill Marler told KIRO E. coli hits kids particularly hard…. and many times, is seen in day care settings.
Public Health officials have not yet identified the source of the infection this time around.
Marler says kids drink more milk than adults and that sometimes can be the source of the e. coli.
