WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Lummi Tribal vaccination data is now entered into the Washington State vaccine database, adding more than 4,700 people to Whatcom county records.

The data includes all County residents vaccinated by the Lummi Tribal community clinics and brings the county’s vaccination rate for all residents up to 56 percent.

Sixty-seven percent of county residents over the age of 16 are now vaccinated.

Governor Inslee has set a statewide goal of a 70% vaccination rate as the benchmark for a full reopening by June 30th.

But he says he’ll still allow the state to open if that goal isn’t reached.
