OLYMPIA, Wash. — Get a joint for getting a jab.
The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board has announced it will allow licensed cannabis retailers to provide one joint to adults who get a vaccination at an in-store clinic.
The allowance permits cannabis retailers to give out a single pre-rolled joint but no other products.
The board says this new incentive is a response to requests from multiple retailers to promote and support the vaccination effort.
The allowance is in effect until July 12th.
