OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington state’s nonprofit public affairs network has received an Emmy for its latest documentary.

TVW, modeled after C-SPAN airing state Legislative coverage and independently-produced shows, was recognized for “Nest Zero – Murder Hornets in Washington State. ”

The 15-minute documentary traces the arrival and spread of the Asian Giant hornet in the Pacific Northwest and is an inside look at the battle to keep the hornets from spreading in Washington and British Columbia.
