BELLINGHAM, Wash. – It’s the Bayhawks.
Superintendent Dr. Greg Baker announced his endorsement and support for the recommendation of the BHS mascot change task force to change the name to the Bayhawks.
Dr. Baker expressed his gratitude to those who served on the task force, participated in surveys and otherwise gave feedback, noting that it was evident the task force led a thorough, thoughtful and inclusive process.
Updates on the mascot design process will begin in the fall.
