OLYMPIA, Wash. – The Washington State Fire Marshal is reminding residents not all fireworks are legal.
Items such as firecrackers, bottle rockets, sky rockets, and missiles are illegal to sell, possess, and discharge in Washington.
However, some of these items are federally legal, and available on some designated tribal lands.
All personal fireworks are illegal in Bellingham and some other cities.
State and federal laws also prohibit M-80s, M-100s, and altered or homemade fireworks.
