GLACIER, Wash. — Enjoy great views, fresh air, and a tough bike ride during the Mount Baker Hill Climb coming September 8th.

The climb starts at Snowater Road just east of Glacier and runs over 22 grueling miles and nearly 1,000 vertical feet to Artist Point.

Two of the three categories are intended as a ride for non-competitive racers and anyone over the age of 13 can participate.

Online registration closes Thursday, September 6th but organizers have limited the ride to 450 participants and are expecting it to sell out early.

The event benefits Shifting Gears, a women-led non-profit that offers biking and hiking programs to encourage outdoor recreation.
