BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Department of Ecology is encouraging residents to review a draft cleanup action plan for the Chlor-Alkali Area on the Bellingham Waterfront.

The Draft Cleanup Action Plan describes the work the DoE plans to address contamination at the site.

In consideration of public health and safety, an online public meeting will be held to elaborate on the plan and answer questions.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday July 14th, with a presentation at 6:30pm and a Q&A period beginning at 7:30pm.
