MARBLEMOUNT, Wash. – The body of a missing Nevada woman was recovered from the Cascade River near Marblemount on Friday.
The woman and an Oak Harbor man went missing floating down the river and authorities were notified when they failed make it to the Marble Creek campground.
Undersheriff Chad Clark says the woman was on a paddle board when she was trapped under a log jam.
Both people involved had little experience on the river.
