OLYMPIA, Wash. – Do you love the great outdoors?

The Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office is recruiting 45 volunteers for committees that will determine how the state invests in outdoor recreation across the state.

The 18 committees will evaluate grant proposals for parks, trails, boating, and other outdoor recreation options, while also looking into conservation proposals.

Members must be able to spend up to a week every two years reviewing grants and help applicants improve their proposals.
