BLAINE, Wash. – Come Monday, Blaine’s Community Assistance Program clothing bank will open in a new location.

The Northern Light reports Freedom Community Church donated the 4,000-square-foot church at 508 G Street to the non-profit last fall.

The new clothing bank, where people can pick up to four adult items and 10 children’s items per week, is more than double the size of its former location next to the Blaine Food Bank.

The new location will maintain the same hours as the food bank, from 9am to noon on Monday and Friday and Wednesday evenings from 5 to 7pm.

The Community Assistance Program is made up of church volunteers who serve the community through a variety of programs, including crisis assistance, holiday gift help and Thanksgiving baskets.
