A high profile defector speaks out as Washington State University’s president restates the school’s policy requiring vaccinations.
Cougar head football coach Nick Rolovich said in a statement on Twitter that he won’t get vaccinated against the coronavirus for “reasons which will remain private.”
He says he’ll participate remotely in next week’s Pac-12 Football Media Day after the conference required all those taking part in-person to be vaccinated.
WSU president Kirk Schulz released a statement yesterday (Wednesday) reiterating the school’s requirement that all faculty, staff and students be vaccinated before coming to campus for the fall semester.
He says the school has an exemption process in place and anyone granted an exemption must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
