An increase in local cases of COVID-19 is prompting PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center to strictly limit visitations.
No visitors will be allowed into the facility until cases in Whatcom County drop below a CDC-recommended threshhold.
The few exceptions are for labor and delivery, end-of-life and pediatric patients.
Non-patients are also not allowed in PeaceHealth clinics in Whatcom County, with the exceptions pediatric, OB-GYN and patients who need assistance.
Family and partner participation using video chat technology is encouraged.
