Whatcom County saw an increase in COVID-19 cases across the board last week.
The Whatcom County Health Department reports the Blaine and Lynden School Districts both had infection rates over 200 per 100,000 residents as of last Saturday.
But every district in the county saw an increase in cases.
The Bellingham District, which also has the highest rate of vaccination in the county, also had its highest rate of infection since February.
The health department is urging residents who will be attending the fair and other high occupancy events to take precautions against infection even when outside.
