The National Weather Service has updated the Excessive Heat Warning for Western Washington.
The service now says we should expect excessive, and sometimes dangerous, heat through 8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday).
Temperatures are forecast in the 90’s today and the 80’s tomorrow in Bellingham, with higher temperatures possible further inland.
Everyone is warned to drink plenty of fluids, stay out of the sun and in air conditioning if possible.
People working or spending time outside should take extra precautions.
