WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – The Nooksack Tribe is putting its money where its mouth is to make sure all of its members are vaccinated against the coronavirus.
The Tribal Council has ok’d one-time $1000 payments for all enrolled members who are fully vaccinated.
Those who received their shots through the tribal clinic don’t need to do anything to receive the check.
Members who were vaccinated elsewhere just need to show proof.
Members must be fully vaccinated or receive their second dose no later than November 30th, 2021 to receive the payment.
