BELLINGHAM, Wash. – This Saturday, Aug. 21, hundreds of participants will gather at Lake Padden Park for the 37th Lake Padden Triathlon.
There will be two events, one at 8:30 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m., that will include a bike portion of the race, taking cyclists out onto local roadways, mainly on S Samish Way and Old Samish Road
Local drivers are asked to be mindful of cyclists and be prepared to stop at designated traffic control areas along the route.
