WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. – Two accidents on Whidbey island closed off sections of State Route 20 on Monday, September 13th.
WSDOT reports the first accident happened around 8:45 yesterday morning when a driver turned onto State Route 20 near Coupeville.
His vehicle was hit from behind by a driver from Oak Harbor, who was speeding.
Both drivers were injured.
Less than an hour later, another crash shut down both lanes of State Route 20 just east of Coupeville.
