More jobs were added over the past month in Washington State , but the growth is slowing slightly as COVID continues to cause concern.
Nearly 17,000 new jobs were created in August, half of which were in the leisure and hospitality industries.
Washington also saw an increase in government and business service positions filled.
The unemployment rate for the state remained unchanged, at 5.1%.
