SEATTLE, Wash. – The leader of a neo-Nazi hate group who once lived near Blaine has been convicted of federal charges for sending threatening posters to Jewish activists and journalists.

Kaleb Cole was convicted in Federal Court in Seattle of five felonies for the conspiracy to deliver the posters to a TV reporter and members of the Anti-Defamation League in Western Washington.

He and others from his group, Atomwaffen, also sent the posters to journalists and activists in other states.

The posters stated that the recipients had been “visited by your local Nazis” and featured a hooded figure throwing a Molotov cocktail.

Three co-conspirators have pleaded guilty and were sentenced.
