HEATHER MEADOWS, Wash. – Mount Baker Highway from Heather Meadows to Artist Point is now closed for the season.
WSDOT says the annual closure of the last 2.7 miles of the roadway is in effect as of Thursday, October 7th.
That portion of the Mt Baker Highway is closed for most of the year when it’s covered by snowpack.
