PULLMAN, Wash. – Former Washington State University football coach Nick Rolovich is pursuing legal action against his former employer.

Rolovich’s lawyer claimed in a press release that the coach’s firing was “illegal” and had been planned by WSU Athletic Director Pat Chun since April.

Fahling also accused the school of being “discriminatory” against his Catholic religion.

Rolovich applied for a religious exemption against the COVID-19 vaccine but the request was denied.

WSU fired the former coach and four coaching assistants for their refusal to get the COVID shots.
