BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Whatcom County man will spend 15 years in prison for intentionally running over and killing a man.
Dylan Richard Wayne Wolcott pleaded guilty to 2nd Degree Murder for hitting Myron Fultz outside of a Maple Falls home on July 2nd, 2021.
Wolcott told Whatcom County Sheriff’s deputies that he had gone to the home to pick up his girl friend but she told him to leave.
He said Fultz followed him out of the home and was yelling at him as he turned his truck around in a cul-de-sac.
He hit Fultz and tearfully told deputies he did it on purpose.
He also admitted to having done methamphetamine, fentanyl and heroin in the hours before the confrontation.
A Whatcom County Superior Court judge sentenced Wolcott on Tuesday, October 19th.
