BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Bellingham Police arrested a man after assaulting a stranger who he had just stolen from.
Court documents state that 39-year-old Fred Binschus was caught stealing tools from a shed early Wednesday morning, October 20th.
When confronted by the shed’s owner, Binschus pushed him and fled on bike.
Binschus later used the bike to smash a window in a home across the street from the shed.
Officers were able to find and arrest Binschus, who faces burglary and theft charges, and a malicious mischief charge for breaking the second person’s window.
