BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Bellingham woman is behind bars after two people were found dead at her home on separate occasions.
Court documents state that 33-year-old Mia Rawski called 9-1-1 in April after finding her friend, Christopher Jones, unconscious in her front yard.
Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.
Rawski told officers the two had been drinking and using heroin earlier in the night, adding that she instructed Jones on how to inject heroin into his thigh.
The April incident wasn’t the first time officers were sent to investigate a death at her Franklin Street home.
Just six weeks prior to Jones’ death, police were called to Rawski’s home after her then-boyfriend overdosed on heroin.
The boyfriend, who was not named in court documents, was also pronounced dead at the scene.
Rawski was arrested Tuesday, November 3rd, after probable cause was established.
