BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Firefighters need to train in all sorts of techniques and in unfamiliar settings.
This week departments from all around the country are training in Bellingham’s Squalicum Harbor at Gate 7.
They began training Monday, November 8th and will continue this Wednesday, Friday and again on November 17th.
Training is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The Port of Bellingham says there will some impact to drivers in the North Harbor Loop but users will have normal access to the harbor and the promenade.
