WAHTCOM COUNTY, Wash. – There’s a winter weather advisory in effect for parts of Whatcom County until 1 p.m. today, Monday, December 6th.

Snow accumulations covered roads north of Bellingham by 4 a.m. this morning, causing delays for drivers.

One to two inches of snow is possible in some areas.

WSDOT reported multiple collisions on county roads and a number of cars and trucks slid off roads into ditches.

Schools across the county were delayed and bus service is limited.
