BURLINGTON, Wash. – Two men have been arrested after allegedly kidnapping a Bellingham man and forcing him to rob multiple stores.
KOMO reports the 34-year-old victim had a property dispute with the suspects before they threatened to kill him, beat him with a handgun, and took him to Skagit County to steal from businesses.
The Burlington Police say the victim passed a note to a employees on Sunday, December 5th, that said he’d been kidnapped.
Employees called 911 and police were able to apprehend the suspects after they forced the man to try to rob another store in the area.
The suspects were booked into the Skagit County Justice Center on charges for robbery, harassment, trafficking and assault.
