BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Multiple accidents resulted in a fatality and snarled traffic on I-5 south of Bellingham this morning, Tuesday, December 21st.

Washington State Trooper Jacob Kennett says the right lane will be blocked northbound at North Lake Samish (MP 246) while crews investigate a multi-vehicle fatality collision.

Two other incidents on I-5 between Old Fairhaven parkway and North Lake Samish had lanes closed for over an hour.

The WSP is asking drivers to slow down, move over and drive safely through the area.
