WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
It goes into effect at 4 a.m. Wednesday, December 22nd and lasts until 4 p.m. on Thursday, December 23rd.
Heavy snow is expected above 3000 feet with hazardous driving conditions.
The Mount Baker Ski area says they’re expecting up to 31 new inches over the next three days.
