BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Western Washington University has become the latest school to move classes online after the holidays.
In an email sent to students, Western said that the first week of winter classes will be held remotely, with in-person classes resuming January 10th.
Campus officials are also encouraging students to get their booster shot and get tested before returning to campus.
WWU President Sabah Randhawa added that the school is working on bringing COVID vaccine clinics to campus- both regular doses and booster shots.
The news comes just days after UW made a similar announcement for their students.
