WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – Another round of heavy snow is forcing closures across Whatcom County.
Western Washington University officials have closed their campus for in-person meetings Thursday, December 30th.
Whatcom Community College and Skagit Valley College are also closed today with remote learning in place.
The Whatcom County Health Department has also cancelled COVID-19 test appointments from 7-10 am today.
The Lynden Community Center will also be closed today and Friday, December 31st.
The National Weather Service is forecasting an additional inch of snow to fall this morning.
Officials are urging people to stay off the roads and stay at home if at all possible.
