FERNDALE, Wash. – Whatcom county is opening a new debris disposal site for flood-impacted residents.
Residents can take their flood debris to the Republic Transfer Station in Ferndale between January 5th and 12th.
The county had to close their other disposal site on Halverstick Road due to severe winter weather.
You’ll need to provide your address to use the new site and please only bring flood related debris for disposal.
The Republic Transfer Station is located in Ferndale at 1524 Slater Road and they are open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:25 p.m.
