WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A winter storm watch will be in effect starting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 5th.

The National Weather Service says heavy snow is possible and we could see 4 to 8 inches of accumulation in western Whatcom County.

The warning is in effect from 6 p.m. tomorrow until 4 a.m. Thursday.

The winter storm watch is also in effect for San Juan County.
