BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Police are looking for a group of people after a woman was pepper sprayed and had her vehicle stolen in south Bellingham today (Friday).
Western Washington University Police say the woman was in her SUV outside the In And Out convenience store at 2219 Douglas Avenue in Happy Valley when she was attacked at about 9:15 a.m.
A group of as many as five people walked up and yanked her out after one of them pepper sprayed her.
The group took off in her vehicle, a 2002 green Ford Explorer.
The man who pepper sprayed her is described as white, about 6 feet tall wearing a white hoodie and blue jeans.
Anyone with information or who spots what could be the vehicle is asked to call 911.
