BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A Battle Ground man faces a rape charge for having sex with a woman who was determined to be too intoxicated to give her consent.
Whatcom Superior Court records state the woman met three men at a liquor store on Meridian on December 28, 2020 and they invited her to their hotel room on Mcleod Road in Bellingham.
Police were later called to the hotel and officers said the woman showed signs of extreme intoxication and she told them she had been raped by one of the men.
Test results from the state crime lab came back this past December and a warrant was issued for 25-year-old Colton Lee Bellikka.
He was taken into custody Friday, February 4th, and is out of jail on bond pending arraignment in April.
