BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A virtual public forum is set for people to get to know the candidates for Bellingham’s next Police Chief.
City officials say the forum will be held on March 17th at 5:30 pm.
Last year, the city went through the process of selecting a replacement for the outgoing Chief Flo Simon.
That initial search ended without a new chief.
Bellingham Mayor Seth Fleetwood says the city received a total of 13 applications for the position, but did not disclose how many of the applicants will be introduced during the forum.
Candidates will answer questions submitted by the public ahead of the forum.
More information about the forum, visit the City of Bellingham website.
